Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 26, 2026
Recall is provided by BlueBridge Systems, a sole proprietorship based in Texas ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information Recall collects, how it's used, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We don't sell your data, and we don't show ads.
- We don't use analytics or tracking tools on Recall.
- Your pets' records are visible to you and the household members you invite. We don't look through them.
- You can download all of your data at any time, even without a subscription, and you can delete your account whenever you like.
What we collect
Account information: your name, email address, and password (stored in scrambled, encrypted form that we can't read), your timezone, and your household's name and settings.
What you add to Recall: your pets' profiles and photos, and everything you and your household log, including symptoms, medications and supplies, body map notes, diagnoses, custom fields, notes, and photos. It also includes your veterinarians' names and contact details if you add them, and messages and attachments you send to support.
Household members: the email addresses of people you invite to your household.
Billing information: payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout, and we never see or store your full card number. We keep your subscription status and billing history, and Stripe may share the card's brand and last four digits with us so we can show them to you.
Technical information: like most websites, our server records basic technical details such as your IP address and browser type when you log in and use Recall. We use this to keep your account secure and to fix problems.
How we use it
We use your information only to run Recall for you:
- to provide the app and keep your household's records;
- to send you account emails (like email verification, password resets, and household invitations) and the reminders you choose (like low-stock and expiration alerts);
- to email your veterinarian only when you turn on refill notices for a medication;
- to process your subscription;
- to answer support requests and keep Recall secure.
As the operator, we can see basic account details (like names, email addresses, and when accounts were created) in our admin tools. We only access your pets' records when you ask us for help, or when it's necessary to keep the service secure or meet a legal requirement.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information or share it for advertising. It's only shared:
- with your household, meaning the people you invite;
- with your veterinarian, only through refill notices you turn on, and with anyone you choose to send an exported report to;
- with the services that make Recall run:
- Hosting: Recall runs on a dedicated server with our hosting provider, Hetzner. Our emails are sent directly from that server. The server may be located outside your state or country.
- Payments: Stripe processes subscription payments under its own privacy policy.
- Fonts and code libraries: some parts of the site (like fonts and charts) load from content delivery services. Like any website you visit, these services receive your IP address when they send the file, but they don't receive your Recall data.
- when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of our users or Recall;
- if Recall is ever sold or transferred, in which case this policy would continue to protect your information and we'd let you know.
Cookies
Recall only uses essential cookies: the ones that keep you logged in, remember your login if you ask, and protect your account from security attacks. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
- While your account is open, we keep your information so Recall works for you.
- If you cancel your subscription, your records stay in your account (so you can download them or come back) until you delete your account.
- When you delete your account, your households' records and photos are deleted from Recall right away, and any active subscription is cancelled. For disaster recovery, our server keeps a copy that may still contain deleted information for a limited time until it's replaced. That copy is never used for anything else.
- Stripe keeps billing records as required by its legal and tax obligations.
Your choices
- Download your data anytime from your account, even without a subscription.
- Update your information in your profile.
- Delete your account from your profile, which deletes your data as described above.
- Questions or requests? Email us and we'll help.
Keeping your data safe
Recall uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), stores passwords in encrypted form, and keeps each household's records visible only to that household. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will let you know if a security issue affects your data.
Children
Recall isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. Account holders must be 18 or older, and invited household members must be at least 13. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, please contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll let you know by email or in the app before they take effect.
